About the International Building Congress 2025
The International Building Congress 2025 (IBC 2025) is organized by the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) to provide a global platform to uplift building practices.
It brings together leaders of thought drawn from policy makers, the academia, research, industry, materials manufacturers and other service providers in the building industry.
The Global Building and Construction market valued at $15.26 trillion in 2023 with an annual projected growth rate of 5.61% is estimated to reach $20.05 trillion by 2028. The anticipated significant growth is premised on increasing government investments in infrastructure development, urbanization and technological advancements. Sub-Saharan Africa is tipped to experience the highest regional growth because of its population and rapid urbanization.
According to the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the Construction sector in Nigeria recorded a notable growth of 3.5% in 2024. IBC 2025 will mobilize stakeholders around key topical issues on sustainability, inclusiveness, skills and circularity. It would afford opportunities for knowledge sharing, promoting global best practices, innovation, and B2B as well as B2C engagements.
